Michal Olszewski | Deputy Mayor of Warsaw
Mr. Olsewski graduated from the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism / Institute of International Relations at Warsaw University in 2001. He was engaged as a Senior Expert at the Office of the Committee for European Integration from 1997 to 2004, and after that he was the Deputy Director of Structural Funds Coordination Department in the Ministry of Regional Development / Ministry of Economy and Labour. In 2007 he started his engagement at the City of Warsaw, first as the Acting Head of Investors Relations Department and then the Head of EU Funds Department. He has been the Deputy Mayor of Warsaw since 2011.
Apart from his work in city administration, he is also the Chairman of Warsaw Labour Market Council, Acting member of European Commission High Level Group for Smart Cities and Communities, Chairman of Warsaw Innovation Council, and has been engaged in numerous other bodies and institutions.
